Safeguarding & Conduct: Liron Woodcock-Velleman

I am submitting a Freedom of Information request regarding Liron Woodcock-Velleman, former Labour councillor for Barnet, who resigned in April 2025 and later pled guilty to sexual offences involving minors.Please provide the following:1.Any records, correspondence, or internal notes held by the council explaining the circumstances or stated reasons for his resignation in April 2025.2.Any safeguarding concerns, risk assessments, or complaints made to Barnet Council regarding Liron's conduct involving minors, logged at any point during his time in office or council-linked roles.3.Confirmation of whether Barnet Council was aware of any active investigations, referrals, or external safeguarding enquiries concerning Liron at the time of his resignation. Include the overseeing body, dates, and status.4.Copies of any correspondence between Barnet Council and external organisations (including but not limited to HOPE not Hate or the Jewish Labour Movement) that referenced safeguarding, conduct review, or resignation reasoning.5.If no safeguarding complaints or investigation awareness was logged, I expect this to be clearly stated for each point: 'No records held, no complaints received, no investigations known.'This request is made in the public interest, particularly concerning child safety and political accountability.I expect a full, point-by-point response within statutory time limits.
