Senior Salaries

Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request details of salaries paid to senior council employees over the last decade. I would like the information below, for the following three years: 2016; 2021; and the latest year for which figures are available. 1. The number of staff/posts with a salary of £100,000 or more, and the total wage bill for these posts; 2. The number of staff/posts with a salary of £50,000 or more, and the total wage bill for these posts; 3. The median pay ratio - i.e. the ratio between the remuneration of the highest paid officer and the median salary; 4. The ratio between the remuneration of the highest paid officer and the lowest paid employee. I hope this makes sense. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any queries about any part of it. If my request is denied in whole or part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect you to release all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material.
