Freedom of Information Request

Property and land assets disposed and acquired by the council since 1 January 2010

Received: 3 March 2026

I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.Please provide a spreadsheet (Excel or CSV format) containing details of all property and land assets disposed of by the council since 1 January 2010. For each disposal, please include:*Address and postcode*Date of disposal*Sale price (if recorded)*Whether the disposal was made through the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) or was a general fund/regular disposal (please separate these categories clearly)Please also provide a list of all land and property assets acquired by the council since 1 January 2010, including:*Address and postcode*Date of acquisition*Purchase price (if recorded)*Whether the acquisition was made through the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) or was a general fund/regular disposal (please separate these categories clearly)In addition, please provide a list of all Community Asset Transfers (CATs) completed since 1 January 2010, including:*Asset name/address*Date of transfer*Whether the transfer was at market value, discounted, or for £0 (if recorded)If any of the information requested is not held or not centrally recorded, please state this clearly. Similarly, If the data is already publicly available - links to the section of the council website would be gratefully received. For guidance on the information requested - some local authorities do publish the data publicly, Leicester City Council here being an exemplar. I am essentially asking for data to be returned in the same format, if held. Please note that I would be happy to reduce the scope of the request if the data sought exceeds cost limits. Please also note that Price Paid Data from HM Land Registry does not constitute an alternative publicly available source for the purposes of Section 21 of the FOI Act. The dataset does not identify whether a transaction involved the council, and therefore cannot reveal whether a disposal was made by the authority without specialist knowledge or additional context held only by the council.I would be grateful to receive all data in spreadsheet format. The most common file extensions for these are .csv or .xlsx .pdf is not a valid spreadsheet format. Many thanks for your help.
