School Exclusions Governing Board Outcome Data

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to request the following information relating to school exclusions under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Data which the council holds on the outcomes of governing board hearings considering permanent and fixed term exclusions from schools located within the council's area for the time period academic years 2015/16 to 2018/19 (as recent as the data allows) broken down by:

- type of school ' academy / maintained school; and
- type of exclusion ' permanent / fixed term.

For the avoidance of doubt, the information requested relates to the initial governing board hearing held prior to any independent review panel (IRP) and not the outcomes of governing board reconsideration hearings held following an IRP.

I attach a table which sets out the information requested. If possible, please could you provide the information in the form of the attached table.
