Modern Slavery Statement

Received: 3 September 2019

Pursuant to the Freedom of information Act 2000, I would be grateful if you could provide information relating to the following survey questions.

Introductions
Under section 54 (Transparency in Supply Chains) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, relevant commercial organisations must publish an annual statement setting out the steps they are taking to prevent modern slavery in their supply chains. This statement is referred to as a Modern Slavery Statement.

The purpose of this survey is to collate data on how well UK public authorities enforce the legislation. The information will be used in an academic paper which will be shared with the Home Office to assist with its assessment of Modern Slavery in the UK.
