Freedom of Information Request

Bus stop at Langstone Way

Received: 3 July 2020

Dear Barnet Borough Council,

Please could you send to me all correspondence with Transport for London, any plans, diagrams, minutes from meetings etc. relating to proposals for a permanent bus stop to replace the current temporary one on Bittacy Hill, NW7 between Langstone Way and New Road, serving route 221.

Location can be viewed here:

TfL have advised me that LBB Council first proposed to install a permanent bus stop at this location 18 months ago. Please could you inform me why these proposals haven't yet been followed through, and what the plans are if any, to place a permanent bus stop here in the future? Please include the proposed name of the stop and how much it will cost to place, also whether routes 240 and 382 are also planned to serve the stop in place of the current 'Frith Lane' stop closer to Holders Hill Circus.
