Homeless 16 and 17 years and care leavers

1. Does your local authority have a joint protocol between housing and children's services for 16-and 17-year olds as specified in the Ministry for Housing Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and Department for Education (DfE) guidance 'Prevention of homelessness and provision of accommodation for 16 and 17 year old young people who may be homeless and/or require accommodation'?

2. Does your local authority's statutory advocacy offer provide advice to 16-and 17-year-olds faced with homelessness, as recommended in point 3.47 of the guidance 'Prevention of homelessness and provision of accommodation for 16 and 17 year old young people who may be homeless and/or require accommodation'?

3. Does your local authority have a joint housing protocol for care leavers, as recommended by the joint DfE and MHCLG/DLUHC guidance 'Joint housing protocols for care leavers: good practice advice' published in October 2020.

4. If your answer to questions one and/or three is yes, could you please provide us with a copy of the joint protocol or any related documents? You may only have one document for both answers.
