Freedom of Information Request

Local Heritage List

Received: 5 August 2022

In reply to question 5 you state:

This report is the product of the annual review of the Local Heritage List, where new
nominations are put forward and considered by a selection panel consisting of
Councillors, heritage officers, a Historic England Inspector and a representative from
a local amenity society. The panel was chaired by Barnet's Heritage and Design
Champion. The new nominations were considered by the panel against adopted
selection criteria.

Can you please provide a list of the individuals forming part of the selection panel.

Precisely what written or other representations were made to the selection panel to warrant the inclusion of this property onto the list? Can you please provide a copy of the same.

Precisely what were the reasons given by the selection panel to warrant the inclusion of this property onto the list?
Which criterion/criteria did the property satisfy for it to be included in the list
I would expect that minutes of the meeting of the selection panel were taken. Can you please provide a copy of the minutes relating to this property?
When was the list finalised before approval by the council on 6th Jan 2020?
Were council officers advised of the existence of the list prior to its approval? If so, when and how?

In relation to the properties that did not make it onto the list, can you please indicate how many were on Station Road New Barnet EN5? And how many were in the same ward: Barnet Vale?
