Library services for five to eleven year olds

COVID-19: Update

In line with Government guidance we are now gradually re-introducing library services over the coming weeks and months.  The safety of our customers and staff is paramount. This means that it will take some time for us to re-open all of our libraries and re-introduce all of our services.

Current services available are:
Select and collect – available from Chipping Barnet, Colindale, Edgware and Finchley Church End Libraries.  Items must be ordered in advance for collection only.  All other libraries remain closed at the present time.
Home Library service
Borrow ebooks and eAudiobooks.
Access our digital magazines, newspapers, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, biographies.
Practice for your Citizenship or Driving Theory test.
Ask for homework help by email.
Contact our Local studies centre with enquiries by email or phone.

Silly Squad, Summer Reading Challenge 2020

Join in the fun with this year's digital version of the Summer Reading Challenge!

Summer Reading Challenge will keep children reading over the summer and support parents and carers with children at home.

As they read their library books, children taking part online, will unlock digital prizes, activities and video content as rewards for their reading. Families are encouraged to join in and ‘Get Silly’ with downloadable activities, games, quizzes and more.
