Get Online Week 2019

Get Online Week

Get Online Week is a week-long, annual celebration co-ordinated by The Good Things Foundation. Thousands of events will be taking place each year in communities across the UK, giving everyone the chance to find the help they need to improve their digital skills.

This year, Get Online Week will return on 14-20 October. Barnet libraries are proud to be taking part once again with a series of events at Chipping Barnet library.

Learn simple coding with micro:bits. Borrow micro:bits from the library to make your own digital creations at home.

Robots in the library

Robots are taking over the library in a session that mixes craft and coding, robotics, learning, discovery and fun! Learn about coding with our Lego and Movi robots. Take part in some creative robot craft and help us to build a ‘code-a-pillar’! See table for dates, times and locations.
