The cost for a year of bin collections will be held at £70 for one bin and £50 for each additional bin. These are the same charges as last years’ service. Residents who sign up in time for the start of the service will receive around 23 fortnightly collections.

The quickest and easiest way to sign up and pay is online at www.barnet.gov.uk/gardenwaste

Existing customers who have provided electronic contact details will be sent an email with a link to the website to renew their subscription. Leaflets will be sent to all residents soon with details of how to sign up and pay for their yearly subscription.

From the start of the new service year, collection crews will only empty garden waste bins that have a blue sticker on the lid. Existing subscribers should remove their yellow sticker before the start of the service and apply their new blue sticker to the lid of their garden waste bin.

Residents are urged to sign and pay by 18 April for their collections to continue from the start of the new service year and to receive a full year of collections.
