The BOOST team

Since its launch in 2015, BOOST has helped more than 850 Barnet residents find employment.

BOOST teams are based in Burnt Oak Library, Watling Avenue, HA8 0UB (0208 3595600); and in a shop at 184 Cricklewood Lane, Childs Hill, NW2 2DX (0208 3597200). They can be reached from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

BOOST teams can help residents:

  • Improve their CVs and interview techniques, or their health and wellbeing
  • Find job, training and volunteering opportunities
  • With advice on issues including housing, benefits and debt
  • Thrive in their new jobs once they’ve found work.

They also help residents find job, training and volunteering opportunities and provide advice on issues including housing, benefits and debt.

What’s more, once they’ve helped people find work, they give them the advice and support to thrive in their new jobs.

A third recently launched BOOST operates from South Friern Library, Colney Hatch Lane, N10 1HD, from 10am-5pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month.

Whether you’re looking for a job or an employee, BOOST can help you!
