Message from the Leader: COVID-19 update

This means that the council will now, temporarily, collect recycling waste on a fortnightly basis

We will continue to collect general refuse waste from black bins on a weekly basis.

You can find your fortnightly recycling collection dates at barnet.gov.uk/covid19

If you have to self-isolate as a precaution or because you have COVID-19, please take the following action when putting out your black bin waste in order to protect our refuse operators.

  1. Please put your waste in a plastic rubbish bag and tie the bag up.
  2. Place that bag into another bag, and then tie this up.
  3. Store it away safely for at least 72 hours before putting it out for collection.

For further information and advice, please visit the council website.

Thank you for everything you are doing to keep yourselves, your families, friends, and our community, safe.
