On 5 April Barnet Council received notice from the owners of the New Bevan Community Church in New Barnet, which is listed as an Asset of Community Value (ACV), of their intention to sell the property.

As a listed ACV, this now triggers the start of a six-week period where the owner cannot sell the property and eligible community groups are invited to provide an Expression of Interest in being treated as a potential bidder. The council is therefore now inviting any eligible community interest group to express an interest in being treated as a potential bidder by no later than 5pm on Friday 17 May 2019.
