Government guidance also encourages people to wear face coverings in enclosed public spaces, in which it is more difficult to observe social distancing, or where people are more likely to come into contact with others they would not normally meet.

Children under the age of 11 do not need to wear face coverings and children under the age of three should not use face coverings, full advice on who may not need to wear a face covering is available online.

You can also find lots of information about face coverings, including the benefits, and instructions on how to make your own on the gov.uk website.
