Residents are being invited to join thousands of other users of My Account, Barnet Council’s secure website service, and be in with a chance of winning a brand new iPad.
Since My Account was launched in March, 15,100 residents have signed up, allowing them to manage their housing benefit and council tax accounts as well as access a wide range of other services including bin collections, parking permits, and road repairs all from one place.
Available on Barnet Council’s website, My Account is easy to use with any device with internet access. The service, which was delivered in partnership with Capita with input from Barnet residents, includes the ability to report and track local incidents such as fly tipping, pot holes and fallen trees.
Users can access multiple services in one place using one password, with My Account automatically adding their contact details to new forms to save time each time they want to request a new service or make an enquiry.
Residents who sign up to My Account between 11th January and the 29th April will automatically be entered into a competition to win a brand new iPad. No additional forms are required.
Leader of Barnet Council, Councillor Richard Cornelius, said: “Thousands of residents are already enjoying the benefits of My Account and I am sure once other people log on to the service they will also realise how quick and easy it is to use.”
