Warning for young people and their parents: COVID-19 has not gone away


There is currently a small but growing number of positive COVID-19 cases in Barnet, particularly among young people.



We want to remind young people – and their parents – that everyone must stick to the rules regarding social distancing and the number of people you meet from outside your household. Please don’t gather in large groups (no more than 6 people outdoors or 2 households indoors).

It’s vital that if you have come into close contact with someone who has been infected you should self-isolate immediately for 14 days. If you develop symptoms, book a test. The mobile COVID-19 testing unit is back in Barnet this week, so getting tested should be really straightforward. Find out more at
