You can now apply for the Additional Restrictions Grant for June 2021 if your business:
- is trading
- pays or doesn’t pay business rates
The application window will close at 11.59pm on Monday 21 June 2021, please apply as soon as possible if your business meets the eligibility criteria.
Only 1 grant is available for each business. Don’t apply for more than 1 Additional Restrictions Grant June 2021
Who can apply
You can apply for a grant if your business is trading but is also still closed under government restrictions.
You can also apply if your business has been awarded 1 or more of these grants since 5 January 2021:
- Business Support Package 5 January 2021 to 31 March 2021
- Local Restrictions Support Grant (second payment cycle) 16 February 2021 to 31 March 2021
- Restart Grant 1, non-essential retail
- Restart Grant 2, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gyms
- Additional Restrictions Grant from 5 January 2021 to 31 March 2021
- Additional Restrictions Grant (second cycle) from 16 February 2021 to 31 March 2021
- Additional Restrictions Restart Grant April 2021
Who can't apply
Grants are not available to businesses that:
- have reached the subsidy allowance limit, previously known as state aid
- are in administration, insolvent or where a striking-off notice has been made
- weren’t trading on the 1 April 2021
- haven’t been awarded a business support grant listed in the who can apply section
How much can you get
The grant is a single payment of:
- £460 for businesses with no rateable value or rent or mortgage
- £1,053 for businesses with a rateable value or rent or mortgage payment of £15,000 or less
- £1,579 for businesses with a rateable value or rent or mortgage payment of £15,001 to £50,999
- £2,368 for businesses with a rateable value or rent or mortgage payment of £51,000 or more
Please apply for the correct grant value based on your rateable value or rent or mortgage. This should match any grants you have been paid since 5 January 2021.
How to apply
You will need the following documents as evidence you:
- are the rate payer (financial accounts, passport ID page or driving licence)
- were trading on 1 April 2021 (a delivery note, expenses receipt, purchase order or sales receipt)
- or the claimant is the named holder of the business bank account (a bank statement from the last 4 months)
- were occupying the company property on 1 April 2021 (2 different utility bills from the last 3 months, such as electricity, gas, landline or water bill)
Apply for the Additional Restrictions Grant June 2021
When you will hear from us
Government have set a deadline for all Additional Restrictions Grants to be paid by 30 June 2021.
Processing of applications will start immediately so payments are made ahead of the deadline.
If your application is approved, your grant payment will be paid into your bank account within 4 working days of the approval date.
