Resident's parking permit
If you currently live within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) you will need a residents parking permit to be able to park your vehicle in a Permit Holders Only or Residents Permit Holders Only space in the controlled hours.
Business Parking Permit
If your current workplace’s business address is within a Controlled Parking Zone you can apply for a business parking permit to be able to park your vehicle in a Business Permit Holders Only or Permit Holders Only parking place in the controlled hours.
Contractor Parking Permit
If you are a contractor or your current workplace’s business address is within the borough and you frequently carry out work borough wide, and you have a legitimate business need to park in (CPZs) for the performance of your services, you can apply for a contractor parking permit to be able to park your vehicle in Permit Holders Only, Resident Permit Holders Only, or Business Permit Holders Only parking places in the controlled hours.
Builder's parking permits
If you are a builder and carrying out works from a residential or a business address within a Controlled Parking Zone you can apply for a builders parking permit to be able to park your vehicle in Permit Holders Only and Resident Permit Holders Only parking places in the controlled hours.
Doctor's parking permits
If you are a registered medical practitioner (and hold a GMC number) and are currently working at a surgery or consulting room at an address of which is within the London Borough of Barnet you can apply for the doctor's permit to park your vehicle in an already installed doctors bay associated with that surgery or consulting room.
Restricted and Resident Car Park Parking Permits
If your current workplace’s business address is within the North Finchley Controlled Parking Zone or you are currently employed at a school on a permanent basis (for example on the school’s payroll) within the North Finchley Controlled Parking Zone you can apply for a car park permit to be able to park your vehicle in Castle Road Car Park and Stanhope Road Lower Car Park in marked out designated car park permit bays only.
Religious or Community Parking Permit
If you currently undertake religious or faith duties within the community as confirmed by your recognised place of worship, you may be eligible for a religious parking permit to be able to park your vehicle in Resident Permit Holders Only or Permit Holders Only parking place in the controlled hours. The address of the place of worship does not have to be located within the borough of Barnet; however, the religious/faith duties being carried out must be within the borough of Barnet. The place of worship must be either certified under the Places of Worship Registration Act 1855 or belong to the Church of England.
School Parking Permit
If you are currently employed at a school on a permanent basis (for example on the schools payroll) that is in a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) which is already part of the school parking scheme and you have been given permission from the school. You may be able to apply for a school parking permit to allow you to park your vehicle in some Resident Permit holders Only Bays during working hours and term times only.
School streets parking permit
If you currently live, are employed at a school or your current workplace’s business address is within a School Street (Pedestrian and Cycle only Zone) you will need a school street exemption permit to be able to travel through the (Pedestrian and Cycle only Zone) in your vehicle during the restricted days and times.
1 Day Saracens Event Day Scratch Card Permits
If you currently live or your workplace’s business address is within the Saracens Event Day Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) you can apply for parking permits for your guests so that they can be able to park their vehicle in Permit Holders Only or parking places in the controlled hours.
Carer's parking permit
If you currently live within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and require essential home visits by a doctor, district nurse, similar healthcare professional or voluntary carer you can apply for a parking permit to enable your carer to park their vehicle in Permit Holders Only or Residents Permit Holders Only space in the controlled hours.
Saracens Annual Event Day Parking Permit
If your currently live or your current workplace’s business address is in the Saracens Event Day Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) you will need a Saracens parking permit to be able to park your vehicle in Permit Holders Only or parking places in the controlled hours.
Essential Service Parking Permits
The essential service parking permits are available at a cost to public or commercial sector departments (not contractors) that need to make professional visits to residential households within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ).
Prohibited Turn (Pattison Road) Exemption
If you currently live on Pattison Road, NW2 and have a vehicle you will need to have an exemption permit during the hours of restriction of the prohibited turn from Finchley Road, NW2 into Pattison Road, NW2.
