About contractor parking permits
If you are a contractor or your current workplace’s business address is within the borough and you frequently carry out work borough wide, and you have a legitimate business need to park in (CPZs) for the performance of your services, you can apply for a contractor parking permit to be able to park your vehicle in Permit Holders Only, Resident Permit Holders Only, or Business Permit Holders Only parking places in the controlled hours.
Contractor permits are valid to park within all Controlled Parking Zone (CPZs)
Signs on the street will give more information about the zone and its operating hours.
We offer a specific vehicle registration number contractor parking permit and an any vehicle registration contractor parking permit.
The specific vehicle registration number contractor parking permits are virtual, which means you do not need to display anything in your vehicle. Your permit is electronic and is associated with your vehicle registration number.
Patrolling Civil Enforcement Officers will be able to view your permit on their handheld computers.
The any vehicle registration contractor parking permit is a paper permit, which means that you would need to display the permit as per the terms and conditions of use.
You can apply for a 12 month permit.
Only a maximum of 3 contractor parking permits can be issued at any one time.
You will receive email renewal reminders in advance of the permit expiry date.
You should allow at least 5 working days for your paper permit to arrive once you have completed your order. The permit will be posted out via the Royal Mail recorded delivery service, which means that someone must be able to sign for the permit.
We will not replace paper permits which are lost in the post but can assist customers in locating orders by providing the Royal Mail tracking information.
