About doctor's parking permits
If you are a registered medical practitioner (and hold a GMC number) and are currently working at a surgery or consulting room at an address of which is within the London Borough of Barnet, you can apply for the doctor's parking permit to park your vehicle in an already installed doctors bay associated with that surgery or consulting room.
We offer a specific vehicle registration number doctors parking permit and an any vehicle registration doctors parking permit.
The specific vehicle registration number doctors parking permits are virtual, which means you do not need to display anything in your vehicle. Your permit is electronic and is associated with your vehicle registration number.
Patrolling Civil Enforcement Officers will be able to view your permit on their handheld computers.
The any vehicle registration doctors parking permit is a paper permit, which means that you would need to display the permit as per the terms and conditions of use.
You can apply for a 12 month permit.
You will receive email renewal reminders in advance of the permit expiry date.
Paper permits will be issued and posted out to the billing address registered to your permit account. It is important that you check that you have entered the correct full address and postcode details.
You should allow at least 5 working days for your printed permit to arrive once you have completed your order. The paper permits are posted out via the Royal Mail recorded delivery service, which means that someone must be able to sign for the permits.
We will not replace paper permits which are lost in the post but can assist customers in locating orders by providing the Royal Mail tracking information.
