Celebrating Barnet's women and girls 2025 to 2026
To mark International Women’s Day 2026, we are celebrating the women and girls of Barnet at the InspirationALL Awards 2025/26, held at Hendon Town Hall on 2 March. The awards honour the incredible women across the borough who have inspired others through their leadership, resilience and positive impact. Hundreds of borough residents and community groups nominated women and girls in five awards categories below.
Free activities in Barnet for International Women's Day
- Celebrate International Women’s Day with a full week of free activities in Barnet (2–8 March. Try everything from yoga and aerobics to walking netball and mother and daughter taekwondo.

- Join Meridian Wellbeing Centre is hosting an International Women’s Day event at Meritage Centre, Hendon, on Friday 6 March, 11am–1pm. Enjoy a sing‑along, Tai Chi, and inspiring talks.
