Fostering Service

Our service covers these main aspects of fostering:- the fostering recruitment team offers advice and support to anyone interested in becoming a foster carer. We are always looking to recruit new carers and run regular information events for enquirers
- Kinship Team assess people to become kinship carers (fostering a relative). They offer ongoing support and guidance to kinship carers.
- Private fostering, if you look after a child that is not a close relative for more than 28 days, you have a legal obligation to notify us. We will visit you to make sure you and the child are happy with the arrangement and offer you support and advice.
