Local government elections took place across London on Thursday 6 May 2010. Voters elected 63 councillors to represent the 21 wards within Barnet.

- For example, if your electoral registration number begins with CAA that means your polling station is Hadley Memorial Hall, 29 Hadley Highstone EN5 4PU in the Chipping Barnet constituency.

The European Parliament election took place in the United Kingdom on Thursday 4 June 2009. With nearly 500 million citizens represented across 27 member states, this was the largest transnational election in history.
72 of the elected MEP's will now represent the 12 regions that constitute the United Kingdom. Eight of these will represent the London region.
