- Yiddish theatre in London
- Golders Green library
- Thursday 23 February, 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Elizabeth Selby, the curator at the Jewish Museum London, talks about the history of Yiddish theatre in London. Her talk focuses on the collections held at the museum and the displays at the museum and online. As a social history curator, Elizabeth is responsible for the museum's social history collections. She has been working on a number of projects, including Judaica Europeana, a project to digitise the museum's collections.

A celebration of new talent blooming at Barnet's university. Laugh, cry and be intrigued. This has been a student run event since 1996. For more information please contact Farah Mendlesohn.
Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender History Month
February is Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) History Month and in addition to displays of stock at Church End and North Finchley libraries during the month, Church End library will also be launching an LGBT themed reading group. The group will meet on Wednesday 7 March from 6.30pm - 7.30pm and on the first Monday of each month thereafter. Everyone is welcome. The first book for discussion will be Green Carnation prize-winning novel The Proof of Love by Catherine Hall, a second novel by an author whose writing has been compared to Daphne du Maurier and Sarah Waters.
