Having a ceremony to renew your wedding or civil partnership vows has no legal significance; you can have your ceremony anywhere you choose to. You can have a ceremony with family and friends or alone and you don’t need to have witnesses.
You don’t have to live in Barnet to book a ceremony with us and you can use any of our approved wedding venues with our registrars conducting your ceremony. At the end of the ceremony you will sign and receive a special renewal of vows certificate.

Fees for renewing your vows
We charge a non-refundable booking fee of £50 to book a ceremony date and time. We will take this fee from the full ceremony fee. The final cost of your ceremony will depend on the venue you book with us.
Cancelling or rescheduling your ceremony due to COVID-19
The Coronavirus pandemic has not ended, the virus is still present in the population.
It may be necessary to cancel and/or reschedule your ceremony at short notice due to changes in government restrictions, local lockdowns or the need for our staff to self-isolate.
By booking during the pandemic, you agree that you understand and accept the risk of late notice cancellations and/or rescheduling. We aim to give customers as much notice as possible.
If you have a ceremony booked, you will have the option of being contacted at a later date to reschedule, or receive a full refund including the non-refundable booking fee.
If you cancel your ceremony, you will receive a refund minus the booking fee.
We will contact any affected customers as soon as possible if there are any changes to service provision.
