At Barnet, we want to help residents from all backgrounds and communities to have access to high quality employment, learning and skills opportunities.

We developed this strategic action plan in 2021. It provides a summary of our 4 key employment and skills priorities which include:

  1. supporting young people
  2. working with those furthest from labour markets
  3. prioritising high growth sectors
  4. focusing on scale and pace

We're working continuously to improve and develop the local workforce in Barnet, so that all residents can find meaningful and sustainable employment, skills and training opportunities.
