If you can’t find your vehicle on the street

Your vehicle may have been moved to the nearest available parking place by the council.

In some cases, we will move vehicles to our car pound if they are illegally parked.

Tow-away Removal and Clamping Enquires (TRACE) tells you if your vehicle has been taken to the car pound or if it’s been relocated.

If you can’t access the TRACE service online, you can call our 24 hour enforcement line on 0203 856 0020 and we will check the TRACE service on your behalf.

What you’ll need to release your car

To release your vehicle from the car pound, you’ll need to provide:

• proof of ownership (V5C registration document or insurance certificate)
• proof of identity (utility bill or driving licence).

The car pound accept Debit or Credit Card only. Cash is not accepted.
