Improvements and investment in your parks and open spaces
The Council’s long-term vision is to ensure the Barnet’s parks are fit for the future through the development of key sites across the Borough.
Masterplan proposals are being drawn up outlining the delivery of ambitious improvements, including sports hubs and supporting facilities. This investment aims to provide improved fitness and play, support nature conservation and biodiversity, and increase connections between parks and their surroundings.
These proposals are at various stages, and the Council will be looking to gather input from the public with regards plans for these sites in due course.

Childs Hill Park
Following development in the area £230,000 has been identified for park improvements. We are working with the Friends of Childs Hill Park on plans for the old bowling green and the Nant Road bed, which were both identified as areas that park users would like to see the money spent on.
