Food waste can be put in your black refuse bin for collection on a weekly basis.

Waste accepted in the black refuse bin is taken to the Energy from Waste facility at the Ecopark in Edmonton.

It is incinerated to produce enough energy to power more than 80,000 London homes.

This diverts waste away from landfill, reducing CO2 emissions.
