The Council’s office in Colindale is located 7 minutes from Colindale tube station and has 4 rooms available for the members of the public to hire.

The rooms can be used for a variety of events including:

What is included in your booking and conditions of hire

The charge includes:

room set up and breakdown
cleaning after the event
security on duty throughout the event to manage guests

Equipment available in the rooms

screen for presentation
built in speakers and camera for remote meeting functions
microphone and lectern within the conference suite only
hearing loop within the conference suite only

Booking and hire rules

rooms are charged for a minimum of 2 hours for each hire
time for setting up and taking down must be included within the time
rooms must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance of the event
prices are non-negotiable and a refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure bookings
beyond 9pm the rooms can be hired for an additional £100 an hour to the listed charge rate

Getting to the Colindale Offices

There are five parking spaces directly outside the building for blue badge holders. These will be free of charge for blue badge holders who follow the parking regulations. The building is DDA compliant with welfare facilities including lifts and disabled toilets.

Tube

Colindale is the nearest tube stop to the Colindale Office. The walk from the station to Colindale Office takes approximately 7 minutes.

Bus

Buses 125, 186, 204 and 303 provide services from Brent Cross, Sudbury, Edgware, Kingsbury and Winchmore Hill to the Colindale Office, stopping directly outside the office or a couple of minutes’ walk away.

Parking

There is limited parking available nearby with a charge of £10 per vehicle for the day. This is offered at the discretion of the Facilities manager. Alternatively, while there is parking around Colindale, we strongly encourage those who can to opt for public transport. Colindale falls within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), which operates from Monday to Friday 8 am to 6.30 pm.

However, if you do need to travel by car then paid parking is available at Watling Avenue, Bunns Lane, Mill Hill Broadway Station and Daws Lane. All of which are within a 20 to 30-minute walk of the office with good public transport links.
