0-25 Disability Service - Short Breaks privacy notice
Short Breaks offer activities for disabled children and young people to make sure they have the same opportunities as other children to have fun, spend time away from home with their friends, and develop skills and independence. Short Breaks also give families a chance to take a break from their caring responsibilities.
These breaks can include day, evening, overnight and weekend activities and can take place in the child's own home or in a community or residential setting. They come in a range of formats and each one can last just a few hours to a few days, and occasionally longer, depending on the type of provision and the needs of the child and their family.
We employ companies to help us deliver these services, such as specialist activity providers.
