Two fences have been erected at the end of the council owned Wimbush House

Received: 9 June 2020

Two fences have been erected at the end of the council owned Wimbush House. They completely block the tenants path from the rear garden-end fire exit to Westbury Road in the front. The path is the safest and by far the quickest route to the safety of our assembly point in Westbury Road.

Did the Barnet Council Building Control Office or any other council department give its approval for these fences to be erected and to be permanently kept in place?

What is the name of the council officer who approved of them?

Does Barnet Council consider these fences not to put lives at risk in the event of a fire?

Please answer my questions as it will be necessary to hold someone to account if legal action is required if those fences were the cause of a tragic accident which could have been prevented if they were not there
