Concerning the Council's approval of the building application for extensive additions to 47 Haslemere Avenue
Received: 22 July 2020
Further to my complaint of earlier today, concerning the Council's approval of the building application for extensive additions to 47 Haslemere Avenue, I have discovered the following remarkable facts.
1. The letter that Council claims to have sent us on Sept 3, 2018 about this application is dated a month before the revised plans for the application were submitted on Oct 1, 2018. Therefore, we had no way of seeing these plans.
2. The revised plans do not seem to include the loft conversion which was done at this property (and which we approved separately). It is clear that the process of notification and approval of this application is deeply flawed. Our solicitor asks that we receive full details of the notification that you maintain was sent to us, under the Freedom of Information Act.
What can we do to put things right?
