Petition: Stop proposed perimeter path on Lyttleton Playing Fields
Ward: Garden Suburb
Number of signatures: 26
Details:
We the undersigned petition the council to Stop the plans to build a pathway around
the perimeter of Lyttleton Playing Fields that will link into the Linden Lea entrance.
b) Refer the matter to a chief officer to provide a written response to the Lead
Petitioner within 20 working days; or
c) Instruct an officer to prepare a report for a future meeting of the Committee on
the issue(s) raised with a recommended course of action
A perimeter path will create both privacy and security issues for the residents who
back onto the park - most of the residents have only hedge borders separating their
gardens from the park, and burglaries in the area have been on the increase in
recent years.
